SIM900 GSM/GPRS Modem based SMS Controlled Wireless Robot with Auto Reply using ATmega16 Project Kit is a kind of Wireless Semi-Autonomous Robotic Kit which provides vast-range of wireless control ability to the robot unless the Robot gets out of signal area. The direction of movement of the Robot in this project kit is controlled from a Mobile by sending predefined set of SMS to the SIM900 GSM/GPRS Modem of the Robot. And the direction of movement of the Robot is displayed in a 16X2 Alphanumeric LCD continuously. The predefined set of SMS to control the Robot is shown below:-

Also, SIM900 GSM/GPRS Modem of the robot automatically sends SMS in reply to each control SMS it receives from other mobile. The SMS sent by robot through SIM900 GSM/GPRS Modem contains the current status of the robot and it signifies that last control SMS is received and succesfully executed.
This robot is built using AVR ATmega16 Microcontroller, L293D Motor Driver, 16X2 Alphanumeric LCD, a Robot and SIM900 GSM/GPRS Modem.
