Robo Duino-UGV is an Arduino based Robotics workshop where you will learn about designing an unmanned guided vehicle. The Workshop focuses on the basic building blocks of this Robot like microcontroller, motor driver, analog IR sensor and Line follower algoritham. The IR sensor used here are basically reflectance sensor which are a type of active IR sensors. The pair consist of an IR transmitter (LED) & IR receiver (Photodiode). Both the sensors are arranged in such a way that that light from emitter LED bounces off an external object and is reflected into photodiode. Amount of light reflected into the receiver depends upon the reflectivity of the surface. These are basically employed for intrusion detection, object detection (measures the presence of an object), wall tracking (detecting distance from the wall), surface feature detection (detects the painted or taped surface), edge detection etc. It includes a detailed study structure, delivered & demonstrated live by our experts on “How to build an Unmanned Guided Vehicle(UGV)??”.

The beginning is always the trickiest. Once the students are familiar with the basic stepping tools of building a robot, they can further develop & implement it according to the requirements. So the key is keeping it much simpler in the first few steps.

We at ABLab Solutions would get you closer to the Arduino & robotics domain so that you can fulfill one of your long overdue wishes: “Making an Unmanned Guided Vehicle (UGV)”.
