Password Protected Accelerometer based Hand Gesture Controlled Robot using ATmega16 Project Kit is a kind of Secured Semi-Autonomous Robotic Kit using accelerometer sensor. The Accelerometer Sensor is a MEMS sensor used to detect different static and Dynamic Acceleration parameters. Here, it is used to detect tilt of hand. To drive the robot in desired direction, first the user has to enter the password through Hand Gestures. The password is a predefined sequence of hand gestures. Once the correct password is entered, the Robot can be driven by posing predefined Hand Gestures. And the direction of movement of the Robot is displayed in a 16X2 Alphanumeric LCD continuously. The control hand gestures to control the Robot is shown below:-

This robot is built using AVR ATmega16 Microcontroller, L293D Motor Driver, 16X2 Alphanumeric LCD, a Robot and a 3-axis Accelerometer Sensor.
