Obstacle Avoider Robot using ATmega16 and Analog IR Sensor Project Kit is a kind of Autonomous Robotic Kit. The Obstacle Avoider Robot has a built-in intelligence in it which guides itself to move in any direction without colliding with any obstacle coming in its path. Whenever the robot detects any obstacle in its path, it changes its direction and then it moves in forward direction again.

The Obstacle Avoider Robot uses three Analog IR Sensor on its three sides(Left, Right and Front) to detect obstacle from three sides. Whenever the Robot detects any obstacle from any side, it changes its direction of movement. The direction change depends on the Analog IR Sensor that detects the obstacle i.e left, right or front Analog IR Sensor. The above process continues and the Robot never collides with any obstacle.

This robot is built using AVR ATmega16 Microcontroller, L293D Motor Driver, a Robot and three Analog IR Sensor.
