Line Follower Robot using ATmega16 and Digital IR Sensor-II Project Kit

Line Follower Robot using ATmega16 and Digital IR Sensor-II Project Kit is a kind of Autonomous Robotic Kit. The Line Follower Robot has a built-in intelligence in it which guides it to follow either a black line on white surface or a white line on black surface using feed back mechanism. This Line Follower Robot follows a black line on a white surface.

This Line Follower Robot uses five Digital IR Sensor on its front side. The middle sensor is kept above the line and other four sensors on left and right of middle sensor. The Line follower Robot with five sensor runs smoothly as compared to Line Follower Robot with three sensor. The Robot tries to keep the middle sensor above the line using feed back mechanism. In this way, the Robot follows the line.

This robot is built using AVR ATmega16 Microcontroller, L293D Motor Driver, a Robot and five Digital IR Sensor.
