Accelerometer based Hand Gesture Controlled Robot using ATmega16 Project Kit is a kind of Semi-Autonomous Robotic Kit where the direction of movement of the Robot is controlled through different predefined Hand Gestures. The Accelerometer Sensor is a MEMS sensor used to detect different static and Dynamic Acceleration parameters. Here, it is used to detect tilt of hand. The Robot can be driven in different direction by posing predefined Hand Gestures using accelerometer sensor. And the direction of movement of the Robot is displayed in a 16X2 Alphanumeric LCD continuously. The control hand gestures to control the Robot is shown below:-

This robot is built using AVR ATmega16 Microcontroller, L293D Motor Driver, 16X2 Alphanumeric LCD, a Robot and a 3-axis Accelerometer Sensor.
